Home On The Range Rodeo: Through the Gjermundsons we have sponsored for years now the annual August 6 - Champions Ride “Celebrity” Saddle Bronc Match, hosted at Home on the Range, Sentinel Butte, ND. It is a benevolent charity that supports a boys and girls ranch for wayward teens. We also used my DV camera videotaped and reproduced a CD for a fundraiser of the entire 50th anniversary event! It is always a great sunny afternoon filled with pure rodeo entertainment!

It's just not a North Dakota summer without a good rodeo practically every weekend. From the early days of after-chore entertainment on the ranch to its present-day high falluting status as a National Finals Rodeo style competitive sport, rodeos provide lots of action that will have you yelling for more! You'll see lots of cowboys and cowgirls do what the event they do best. Our favorites are the bucking bulls and saddle broncos, "the big man's event" steer wrestling, and the ladies' fast-and-furious-paced barrel and pole or stakes racing. Rodeos continue to be a integral part of North Dakota's western heritage and a symbol of our glorious past and a future my kid has now adopted.

There are many rodeos throughout North Dakota. Here are just a few of them held throughout the summer months. At many of them we sponsor awards for like trophies, ribbons, buckles and tooled trophy saddles.
